Paraticipants must be advised before the event to ensure their footwear and clothing/equipment is free of potential weed seeds or soil which has the potential to introduce pathogens into the reserve. |

The applicant is responsible for removing signage and litter resulting from the event at its conclusion |

The event organiser is to erect clear signage on all entrance points advising of the event and warning of hazards |
|
Signage displaying ‘event in progress’ or similar are to be placed at the reserve entrances surrounding the event to warn other reserve users |
|
If the event intersects an equestrian trail, you must display “event in progress” signs at each point where this event intersects and utilises an equestrian trail (i.e. one sign at each end) |

If access to a reserve is required please call PCS Depot on 62072087 at least 48 hours prior to the event date to arrange for pick key pick up. The PCS Athlon Drive Depot is located at the Corner of Athlon and Sulwood Drive in Farrer, just up hill from the ACTEW power substation |

When accessing roads behind locked gates, ensure gates are locked behind you to prevent incidental public access |

Many reserves have ‘on track events only’ areas marked in yellow on maps provided by PCS. It is the event organisers responsibility to ensure participants do not go off-track in these areas. If an event utilises or is in the vicinity of an ‘on track events only’ area, then the ‘on track only’ condition of use needs to be clearly conveyed on parAcipant maps and in pre-event briefings, and should be monitored and enforced by organisers. |

In the event of a Total Fire Ban (TOBAN) the event will be postponed by PCS. |

Severe weather conditions, including high fire danger, strong winds, and storms, may result in an amendment of the event permit, or postponement of the event if the PCS considers it necessary for public safety. |

Soil saturation may be assessed by PCS prior to the event which may result in an amendment of the event permit, or postponement of the event if PCS determines that the event may cause unacceptable environmental damage |

In the event of wet weather, PCS may inspect the site to assess if the event can continue, if: a. In the 5 days preceding the event (excluding the 24 hours prior to the event) if rainfall is over 15mm. The event permit may be amended, or event postponed if PCS determines that the event may cause unacceptable environmental damage. b. In the 24 hours preceding the event if rainfall is (or is forecast to be) between 5-10 mm or over. The event permit may be amended, or event postponed if PCS determines that the event may cause unacceptable environmental damage. |
