Special Conditions associated with permission#

All vehicles travelling behind locked gates (including for event set up) must be washed down prior to access to avoid the spread of weeds and pathogens

A request that all car owners clean their cars before the event with high pressure spray, especially around the wheels and undercarriage, to prevent import of invasive plant seeds

Shoes and equipment must be thoroughly cleaned prior to entering the activity area and upon finishing the activity and moving to other areas

Shoes must be brushed free of soil and disinfected using a boot wash station if available or spraying the soles of shoes with either: 1. a phytophthora specific disinfectant applied at the manufacturer dosage rate, or 2. methylated spirits 70-100%, or household bleach 1 part to 4 parts water

The applicant is responsible for removing signage and litter resulting from the event at its conclusion

The event organiser is to erect clear signage on all entrance points advising of the event and warning of hazards

Signage displaying ‘event in progress’ or similar are to be placed at the reserve entrances surrounding the event to warn other reserve user

In the event of a Total Fire Ban (TOBAN) the event will be postponed by PCS

A TOBAN may only be called the afternoon prior to the day it is enforced

Severe weather conditions, including high fire danger, strong winds, and storms, may result in an amendment of the event permit, or postponement of the event if the PCS considers it necessary for public safety

Soil saturation may be assessed by PCS prior to the event which may result in an amendment of the event permit, or postponement of the event if PCS determines that the event may cause unacceptable environmental damage

In the event of wet weather, PCS may inspect the site to assess if the event can continue, if: a. In the 5 days preceding the event (excluding the 24 hours prior to the event) if rainfall is over 15mm. The event permit may be amended, or event postponed if PCS determines that the event may cause unacceptable environmental damage. b. In the 24 hours preceding the event if rainfall is (or is forecast to be) between 5-10 mm or over. The event permit may be amended, or event postponed if PCS determines that the event may cause

  • All parking is on the west side of Boboyan Road

  • Priority parking for State Team buses in Parking Area #1
