• meet the Kennards Toilet Hire to place toilets in the designated spots according to the schedule

• set up the podium and press wall for the presentations

  • commentary equipment

• help start team with the start gear if necessary (schedule:warmup)

• coordinate with the IT team for the setup and pack up of the IT equipment

• set out and collect garbage bags and bins at the arena

Parking team

• follow the schedule for the parking team on each day

• parking marshals meet the arriving competitors and guide them to the parking spots

• traffic marshals ensure safety of competitors when moving along and crossing the public roads

• follow parking and traffic plans for each event

• OCEANIA MIDDLE and RELAY events will require particular care as the parking spots are limited

• ASOC SPRINT there will be no access to Hickey Court between Urwin and Dargie St. Traffic marshall will be require here for the duration of the event

• ASOC LONG officials and state team buses will have access to Campbell High School. All other compeititors are requried to find street parking or pay for parking at the war memorial

• ASOC RELAY will require particular care as the parking spots are limited

• OCEANIA LONG officials and state team buses will have access to the Crit Track car park. All other competitors can park in the main carparks

• OCEANIA SPRINT officials and state team buses will have access to the carpark opposite the arena and care to leave room for those using the child care faciltiites. All other competitors are required to find parking in nearby parking areas / streets

Information team

• follow the schedule to run information tent while arena is open on each day

• provide information about the Carnival, answer all questions

  • bulletin should provide most answers

  • this operations manual provides additional information

• hand out competitors’ numbers; merchandise and SI hire sticks

• operate the entry-on-the-day registrations

  • have each competitors fill out registration form

  • hand out rented SIAC stick (registered through the form)

  • collect entry and rental fees

• pass information on entry-on-the-day competitors to the IT team
